The Test Anxiety Phenomenon

Even students who study to the best of their ability, organize to the hilt, and prepare as much as humanly possible can have test anxiety. The symptoms range from butterflies in the stomach to … well, you know.

 

Steps toward test anxiety minimization include:

·        Organize                                      

·        Prepare                                             No new news there, right?

·        Don’t Procrastinate

(Don’t cram!)

 

·   Refine your study strategy repertoire. Learn about new study tools and practice them. Just

     like shopping for clothes, you try them on and find the ones that work best for you.  

     We’re  all different and we all need to find our own fit in our study strategy wardrobe. Then

     learn to adapt to different study situations by implementing different study strategies. You

     wouldn’t wear a tuxedo to a barn dance. Different strategies are for different learning
