Do you have trouble remembering what you have read? If so, try these strategies to help you retain what you read.
ü At the end of a section or chapter, list 3 things you learned, 2 new ideas or interesting thoughts, and write 1 question you still have. An easy way to remember this 3-2-1. The idea is to have more facts than questions at the end of your reading.
ü As yourself questions as you read. Go the link for sample questions. These can be printed and cut apart to make bookmarks.
