NOTE:  You will need THREE of these lesson plan pages - one for EACH of the three books you selected from your text set. 

You will need ONE copy of this page for EACH piece of literature (3). 

Writing Lesson Plan for each book listed above that includes the following:  


1.  Title of Book _________________________________________________
2.  One paragraph on HOW you would use this book with adults (book club, literature- response groups, independent reading, partner reading, etc). Your overall impression of how this book would work with adult learners and which learners this book might be most appropriate for.   

 

 

 

 

 

 


3.  Description of the writing skills you would target with this piece of literature. 

 

 

 

 

 


4.  Description of writing strategies and prompts you would match with each book.  Be sure to include PRE-WRITING exercises.  

 

 

 

 

 

 


5.  Select at least one of the pieces of literature listed in TASK 4 and work with either one or more adults to include this literature as part of the writing instruction. 

Check here if you did NOT use this book in your reading instruction.  If you DID use this book in your reading instruction, please provide the reflection asked for in item # 6.
