How do I submit completed assignments to Western Kentucky University professors?

A.  You may submit your completed assignments either of these ways:

1)  Electronically by file upload through Blackboard.  Work will be scored, comments added, and then returned electronically to you via email.  This is the preferred method.

2)  Electronically through email attachment to:  pamela.petty@wku.edu.  Work will be scored, comments added, and then returned electronically to you via email.

3)  Snail Mail to:  Dr. Pam Petty, WKU, 1906 College Heights Blvd, #71030, Bowling Green, KY  42101-1030
This work will be scored, comments added, and then kept in Dr. Petty's office for you to pick up at your convenience.  You should also include a DISK (PC) with your Microsoft WORD documents on it as we much have an electronic version of your work.

4)  Hand deliver to WKU campus (same address as # 2).  This work will be scored, comments added, and then kept in Dr. Petty's office for you to pick up at your convenience.  You should also include a DISK (PC) with your Microsoft WORD documents on it as we much have an electronic version of your work.

5)  All scores will be posted in Blackboard.

What format should be used for assignments turned into WKU instructors?

A.  Check with your instructors at the university where you are registered for directions on submitting assignments.  WKU students should follow these guidelines:

1)  Documents should be typed - double-spaced, 12-point or larger font, front side of page only.  Directions for copying forms found on-line in the WebQuest and pasting them into Microsoft Word documents can be found HERE

2) Never, never, never turn in the ONLY copy of your work.  You should keep paper and/or electronic versions of ALL assignments.  If an assignment is "lost" (we do not anticipate this, but do not rule it out), it is the STUDENT'S responsibility to supply the instructor another copy of the assignment in a timely manner.

Where can I find websites to support my use of technology as I learn to use it as a teaching and learning tool?

A.  These sites offer information and provide support for those learning to use technology:

 Internet 101
Internet 101 was created for those who want to know just the basics. This guide will provide you with enough knowledge to have fun on the Internet, yet will not bore you with too many details.
