Admission Requirements

Effective January, 2005

Applicants for admission to the MAE program in Education and Behavioral Science Studies must satisfy the following criteria:

• Undergraduate degree in an area related to education or behavioral sciences
• GAP score (GRE-V plus GRE-Q, multiplied by undergraduate GPA) of at least 2200
• GRE-V score of at least 350
• GRE Analytical Writing score of at least 3.5

In addition, applicants must submit a personal statement that describes the applicant's professional/career goals, including a discussion of how the applicant believes completing the MAE in Education and Behavioral Science Studies will contribute to the realization of those goals. International student applicants:
International students who apply must achieve a minimum score of 550 on the TOEFL (or 213 on the computer-based version). The Listening subscale score must be at least 50 (16 on the computer-based version), and the essay writing subscale score must be at least 4.0.
