Veterans Day
Page 1 | Page 2

The army, more so than any other institution, takes pride in remembering those who have come before us. Be it in times of peace, or periods of conflict, those who wear the uniform are united by a special bond of servitude that links each generation of soldier. Whether storming the beaches of Normandy or conducting reconnaissance in the Middle East, the soldiers whom gave candy bars to the liberated French citizens, now do likewise in Baghdad and Kabul. It is on November 11th that the United States Army, as well as all other branches of the armed services, reflect upon the accomplishments of millions while paying tribute to the fallen.
