Lab 5: Urban Land Navigation
Fall 2007
Training on campus allows cadets the ability to perfect certain skills before an introduction to a field environment and Urban land navigation is a primary example. Before cadets must find a point in unfamiliar territory, they must employ and become familiar with basic techniques in a comfortable environment. Urban land navigation introduces cadets to preliminary techniques such as pace count and shooting an azimuth, while developing more advanced methods.
