Cadet of the Month: Robert Cameron

After a month on hiatus, the Cadet of the Month has once more returned. This time, a Cadet is being rewarded not for a single contribution to the battalion, nor a remarkably high pt scores, but for a sustained commitment to the army community as a whole. On April 19th 1951, General Douglas MacArthur addressed a joint session of congress, to which he proclaimed that “old soldiers never die; they just fade away.” For many veterans, the numerous wars and passing of time has led to just that, a silencing of soldiers from across generations. Cadet Cameron not only interviews such individuals to keep record of such stories, he himself has continued the tradition of a warrior scholar, excelling both in and out of the class room.

Cadets form up for physical training 3 days a week. ROTC not only ensures that cadets are mentally and emotionally strong, but also capable of handling the physical demands of the ARMY.
